Marks Koivoer Multi Season Champions Edition – 6 mm sinking has been developed for koi that need to stay in top condition or be prepared for koi shows. This food is based on our latest koi food formula and is aimed at koi in the highest segment, with health, colour, growth, body shape and water quality at the centre.

Based on a great deal of feedback from customers and the wishes of high-level koi hobbyists, we developed Marks Koivoer Champions Edition. The question was simple: can it be even better? Our answer is this refined Champions Edition.

Perfection down to the smallest detail

When developing this formula, we deliberately chose a lower protein level, but with very high absorption and utilisation. The result is a better net outcome: your koi get more out of the food, while fewer waste substances are left behind in the water. This results in cleaner pond water and less strain on the filter system.

The protein composition has been refined and slightly reduced to prevent extreme growth spurts and related disadvantages, such as colour fading. At the same time, we use only high-quality protein sources for optimal digestibility, good muscle development and perfect body condition. This makes Champions Edition suitable not only for young and growing koi, but also for adult and older koi that need to be kept in top condition.

Support for health and natural resistance

Marks Koivoer Champions Edition contains everything koi need to stay healthy, strong and vital. The carefully selected ingredients support resistance, digestion and the overall condition of the koi.

Good health starts with a strong foundation. That is why this food contributes to a healthy mucus layer, which helps protect koi against external influences. This natural protective layer is important for the fish’s resistance and wellbeing.

Digestibility also plays a major role. Because the food is absorbed efficiently, there is less strain on both the koi and the pond water. This means you support not only the health of your fish, but also the balance in your pond.

Beautiful colours without yellowing

Champions Edition has been developed to optimally support the colours of koi, naturally and responsibly. The formula contains carefully selected pigments that contribute to a deep red, vibrant colour without causing your koi to yellow.

Extra attention has also been given to the white of the koi. The composition has been developed to support not only the red, but also the white as much as possible. This creates a clear contrast and enhances the unique pattern of each koi.

Balanced energy without fat accumulation

Fat is an important source of energy, but too much fat can lead to fat accumulation in koi and fatty liver problems. Champions Edition provides exactly the right amount of energy for healthy, natural growth without unnecessary strain.

An important difference compared to previous formulas is that the salmon oil is no longer applied as a coating on the pellet, but is processed into the pellet itself. This has reduced the fat content from 10% to 6%. This is not only better balanced for the koi, but also results in a visibly cleaner water surface.

No oil coating for cleaner water

When developing Champions Edition, we deliberately chose not to coat the pellet. Coated pellets can cause leaching: the release of oils into the water. This may lead to a slight oily haze or oil film on the water surface.

Because the oil is processed into the pellet, the water remains cleaner and clearer. This is an immediately visible benefit for every pond keeper. In addition, the filter is less burdened, because fewer unwanted oils and waste substances enter the water.

Sinking food for calm feeding in the pond

This 6 mm sinking variant is ideal for larger koi that prefer to eat below the water surface or for situations where you want to create more calm during feeding. Because the food sinks, koi can feed naturally in deeper water layers.

Sinking food can also be useful for koi that do not come to the surface as quickly or for ponds where you want to distribute feeding more evenly. This gives calmer koi enough opportunity to feed properly as well.

Ideal for adult koi and show quality

As koi get older, they need less energy. This balanced food supports their health, colour and body condition without unnecessary strain. This makes Champions Edition highly suitable for adult koi, older koi and koi being prepared for a koi show.

Marks Koivoer Champions Edition is an all-round Multi Season food that can be used throughout the year at water temperatures between 5°C and 28°C. It combines well with regular Marks Koivoer, allowing you to alternate easily or create your own feeding schedule.
