FMC - Veterinary medicinal product for ornamental fish
Indications with specification of target species: For ornamental fish in ponds, do not use with Sturgeons and Rudds. Treatment of pond water in infestations of the unicellular skin parasites white spot (Ichthyophthirius multifiliis), Costia (Ichthyobodo necatrix), Trichodina, Tetrahymena, and Chilodonella. Also combats Ciliates (Apiosoma spp).
Dosage
Method of administration and instructions for proper use: Administer to pond water at a temperature between 12ºC and 27ºC. The KH hardness should be higher than 5ºDH, increase if necessary. Start the therapy early in the day so that the behavior of the fish can be observed well and at multiple times during the treatment in daylight. Fish may react unexpectedly to veterinary medicines, such as jumping out of the pond. A net over the pond can prevent this. Clean dirty filters before use. This prevents the medicine from being deactivated by filter contamination. The filter should not be closed or short-circuited during treatment, as the parasites are also in the filter. After treatment, we advise circulating the pond water through a filter with activated carbon for at least 24 hours to remove medicine residues. Then remove the activated carbon from the filter and add bacteria to stabilize ammonia and nitrite levels. Also, ensure proper feeding.
For proper dosing and correct water changes, follow the treatment schedule. Measure the indicated dose of Carp Care FMC with the supplied measuring cup. Mix the dose with a large amount of pond water in a bucket or watering can, with which you evenly distribute the mixture over the pond surface. Note: Carp Care FMC is not effective if dosed too low, and an overdose is toxic to your ornamental fish. Do not add salt. If necessary, reduce the salt content to less than 3 grams per liter of water.

Storage
Protect from frost and direct sunlight and store in the original, tightly closed packaging. After opening, the product can still be used for 1 year, unless the expiry date is earlier.
