CarpCare WormControl Plus – Treatment for worms and parasites in pond fish

CarpCare WormControl Plus is a veterinary medicinal product for ornamental fish used for the treatment of parasitic infections in ponds. The product is suitable for treating skin flukes (Gyrodactylus), gill flukes (Dactylogyrus), anchor worm and fish lice.

The combination of active ingredients – praziquantel (100 mg/g), diflubenzuron (4.4 mg/g) and rafoxanide (0.3 mg/g) – provides a broad-spectrum effect against various parasites.

Use of WormControl Plus

Administration takes place via the pond water at a temperature between 12°C and 27°C. The dosage must be dissolved and evenly distributed according to the instructions in the package leaflet. During treatment, it is recommended to switch off UV and ozone systems, ensure proper aeration of the pond and keep the filter running.

After treatment, the use of activated carbon for at least 24 hours is recommended, followed by the addition of bacteria to support the biological balance.

Note Use this product only when the presence of parasites has been confirmed, preferably by means of microscopic examination. Avoid simultaneous use with other treatments. Not suitable for fish intended for human consumption and keep out of reach of children.
